We stopped here while charging our car at the GMB Buick Cadillac dealership across the street and I’m so glad we did. My husband and I both agreed it was the best Mexican food we’d had outside of our favorite Mexican restaurant in our hometown. I got the choripollo and he got the carne asada- both were excellent! Waitress was very attentive and wonderful with our year and a half old daughter, she made the visit truly delightful. Would recommend to anyone to stop in for a wonderful time and happy belly!

Love this little tucked away Mexican restaurant! Yummy Margaritas and the Fajita Texana nachos were delicious! Reminded us of a little place we visited in New Mexico a couple of years ago -- cozy, colorful, and great food.

My favourite Mexican restaurant! I've been coming here for years. I was last here before the holidays; last night I came in and the physical menu now has stickers to cover the prices. You have to use a QR code to see them. That's new. I really hate needing my phone to look at menus! This is why I removed a star. Browsing a menu is part of the restaurant experience that I love. Apparently with the QR code, you can now get pick up or delivery. Hopefully more of the $ goes direct to the restaurant than other 3rd party delivery apps! The prices have also gone up, though when I asked management about it they told my menu photo was 11 years ago. I was able to find a menu photo from last year though and confirmed it DID go up since my last visit, both my usual order and across the board including lunch specials. My order was + $4 from last year, and my partner's was + $5. $6.99 lunch is now $10.99. I understand food is more expensive and restaurants don't have much choice, though the sudden hike is kind of steep. Our normal chill dinner now costs as much as any other sit-down restaurant. With these changes I worried the restaurant had new management. Fortunately it seems to still be run by the same managers/family. The staff are always very friendly, the food is still very good and the portions are still very generous even for the new prices. The shrimp and veg are always perfectly grilled, and the salsa is always very fresh! La Casa Lopez is still my favorite Mexican restaurant. I'm sad for some of the changes, but I know that's kind of how it is now - times are rough for restaurants. I'm glad they held on as long as they did before the hike and I will continue to support them when I can!

Stopped here for bite to eat and I ordered something I been wanting to try for a while now, I had the Mojarra (Fried whole tilapia served with rice , salad ,avocado slices, and tortillas). The hubby had the Cubana without the pineapple. (Steak, chicken, ham, and chorizo, and pineapple) We shared a Ceviche De Camaron (Chopped up shrimp mixed with pico de gallo and avocado served with tostadas) And hands down this meal was bussin. Great portions, Lots of good flavors
